The Process
Web design and development start with the following questions:
Basic questions first:
Do you have a name for your business?
Do you have a logo?
What is your “product’?
What is the primary feature of your product?
Who is your target audience?
What do you want your web site to do for you? What are your goals?
Do you have a vision of a design for your web site?
Then the technical questions:
Do you have a registered “Domain Name”?
Do you have an e-mail address?
Do you have a company in mind to host your web site?
The actual work:
To publish your web site, we require two things: a "Domain Name" and "Space" on a web server.
If you do not already have a Domain Name, we will work together to come up with one to reflect your web site. There is a fee to register your domain name and can be done so for one or more years at a time.
Next a web hosting company is chosen to host your web site. Here you are "renting" space on a web server to store your web site files. Your domain name points to that space. You can purchase hosting space for one or more years at a time.
A template will be designed based on our discussion to the above questions. Once you are happy with the template, I will create the web pages for your web site.
Your web site is then published to the internet for the world to access!
